The client was considering replacing the old boring metal cabinets in this longterm rental, or painting them to match the walls. Our option of painting the cabinets to match the window valance was a much simpler, cheaper, visually more exciting and happy choice. Also, the mish-mosh of oversized items on top of the cabinets was transformed by using baskets she already owned to give it a more uniform appearance.

Judy replaced an overhead light with a fan/light combination to help make the kitchen more pleasant in the summer, and suggested new dark granite countertops to finish it off.

Well on her way to a new kitchen in a single afternoon!
